Find out if this account is the right match for you:
For Malaysians and non-Malaysians
18 years old and above
Minimum placement:
-RM500 for 2 months and above; or
-RM5,000 for a 1-month placement
2. Shariah Concept applicable
By applying, you are appointing HLISB as an agent to purchase a commodity with a price equivalent to your deposit amount. You will then sell the commodity to HLISB at a profit, and thereafter HLISB will sell the commodity to a third party to obtain cash on the basis of Tawarruq.

Joint eFD-i account is now available on HLB Connect Online (website) for two (2) account holders with operating mandate of either one-to-sign.
Do you have an existing active Joint Current or Savings Account/-i in the same names and operating mandate of either one-to-sign?
If yes, just follow our step-by-step guide below to open your Joint eFD-i account:
From the Apply menu, under Fixed Deposit,
select New Placement/Account Opening
Under From, select your funding bank.
Under Crediting Account, select the Joint Current or Savings Account/-i
The account holders’ names for the selected Joint Current or Savings Account/-i will be displayed.
Check that this is the correct account where you want the Principal and Profit to be credited
Click Next and authorise the request via AppAuthorise.
A notification will be sent to the joint account holder to authorise the Joint eFD-i Account Opening
Inform the joint account holder to login to HLB Connect Online (website) within 7 calendar days
Under HLB Connect Online (website), click on View Request & authorise the request via AppAuthorise
